The IDEAL course: “Improving Disciplinary LEArning through Literacy” will be the final outcome of the BleTeach project. This course will be delivered in an English Master Version and 5 national versions in French (for Belgium, French Community), German, Hungarian, Portuguese and Romanian languages. This course will build on the six modules which have been developed within the BaCuLit course (“Basic Curriculum for Teachers´ In-Service Training in Content Area Literacy in Secondary Schools”, see www.baculit.eu) but update and transform this face-to-face course into a Blended Learning format. Furthermore, we will create national versions of the master course which refer to the national education systems and include national research, curricula, textbooks and assessments.
